The military coup in Egypt won't have any real impact on shipping in the short term but things could look different in a few months, says Risk Intelligence to ShippingWatch.

Yesterday's images from the Tahrir Square might have made several people in the shipping industry nervous abouth whether the military coup against now fomer president Mohamed Morsi would have an impact on shipping.

They can breathe a sigh of relief for now, though things might look different in a few months, chief analyst Nis Leerskov Mathiesen of Risk Intelligence tells ShippingWatch.
