Svitzer CFO switches to Torm

Shipping company Torm has found its new CFO in Mads Peter Zacho, who comes from the same position at Svitzer. He will replace Roland M. Andersen, who announced eariler this year that he would retire from the position.

Starting September 1st, Torm gets a new CFO, says the company in a brief to the stock exchange. Mads Peter Zacho, who currently serves in the same position at Svitzer, will replace Roland M. Andersen, who announced in April that he was resigning from Torm to pursue opportunities outside the shipping company.

Mads Peter Zacho is 44 years old and holds an MA in economics from the University of Copenhagen. He began his career in the bank sector with Goldman Sachs Intl.,and has since held various positions with Unibank, International Finance Corporation in Washington, anjd finally Nordea, before being recruited by Maersk, where he was named Deputy Head of Group Finance. In 2010, he switched to Svitzer, where he works today.
