
Italian D'Amico has ordered 11 dry bulk ships for a total price of USD 290 million, says the carrier according news agency Reuters on Wednesday.
According to D'Amico Dry CEO Lucio Bonaso, the order was made in light of the rising demand for goods such as steel, wood pellets, forest products, as well as coal, iron ore, and grain.
