Gullestrup to testify against pirate negotiator

While the pirate leader who was allegedly responsible for the hijacking of Danica White is in police custody, another case is set to kick off at the end of October against the presumed negotiator in the hijacking of Clipper’s CEC Future back in 2008.

While Belgian police this Saturday succeeded in arresting pirate leader Mohamed Abdi Hassan, known as Big Mouth, Per Gullestrup is preparing to relive the memory of the hijacking of Clipper vessel CEC Future in 2008, where he – in his capacity as CEO of the company – handled negotiations with the pirates.

At the end of October the case against the negotiator for the pirates, Ali Mohamed Ali, begins – a man that Gullestrup himself negotiated with during the last 10 to 11 days of the 71-day-long hijacking.
