Nordea: Shipping moving in the right direction

More available capital in shipping, says Nordea, which also points to the banks' increasing willingness to lend money to healthy shipping companies.

Nordea's loans to shipping continues to improve and the risk of losses has been further reduced in the interim report published by the major bank on Wednesday.

"Credit quality continues to improve, especially in the Shipping area, and we expect to see a continued improvement in the coming years," says Nordea CEO Christian Clausen in the interim report.
