Jens Grønning: Eitzen is close to my heart

On Monday, Danish Jens Grønning takes over as CEO of Norwegian Eitzen Chemical. His task is clear; the carrier needs to strengthen its capital base so that the company can grow, he tells ShippingWatch.

Jens Grønning knows the Norwegian Chemical tank carrier quite well through his employment at the Eitzen Group years back. Now he will get back under the skin of the company in his new capacity as CEO, replacing former CEO Per Sylvester Jensen, who in late October announced his wish to step down.
