Univan: Success in ship management takes hard choices

According to the CEO of ship management company Univan, the good contracts are no longer won on prices when technical management needs to negotiated and settled with carriers from all over the world.

Since January 2012 Bjørn Højgaard has served as CEO of the Hong Kong-based ship management company that operates a little over 100 ships in the dry bulk, tank, and container segment, and he sees completely different parameters come into play when working to secure new contracts.
