SeaIntel: Carriers will cancel more sailings

During the next couple of weeks container carriers will have to cancel sailings on a large scale in order to adapt to the demand.

Shippers should start preparing for the container carriers' large-scale cancellation of sailings in the weeks to come, ahead of the Chinese New Year's, says SeaIntel in an analysis.

So far the carriers have only suspended sailings between Asia and the South American east coast to an extent adapted to the expected decline in demand.
