
DFDS and French logistics company Stef SA, which primarily transports refrigerated and frozen goods, have made a deal that means DFDS acquires Stef's logistics activities in Scotland, and Stef acquires DFDS Logistic's continental distribution and handling activities in Boulogne.
The transaction is expected to result in significant operational synergies by integrating DFDS and Stef's activities in Scotland, including a turnaround of the acquired assets. Synergies will also be achieved through a consolidation of the customer portfolio.
