Nordea predicts two years of growth in shipping

2014 will be better, but 2015 will likely be even better for the shipping industry, Nordea Head of Shipping, Hans Christian Kjelsrud, tells ShippingWatch.

As one of the world's largest banks supplying financing for shipping and offshore, Nordea is more optimistic about the coming years than the bank has been in a long time.

The estimate is based on the latest annual report from the financial group, which shows almost zero deferrals, and the report also indicated that the development toward a healthy shipping market only picked up speed during 2013.
