
Sanctions against Russia have been underway ever since Russian troops in late February took control of the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea in the wake of the rebellion in the country.
And now, according to both the British Prime Minister David Cameron and the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Laurent Fabius, the EU's sanctions could be in place by as early as a few days, according to the BBC.
