DFDS in USD 20.11 million 1Q deficit before taxes

DFDS finished the quarter with a deficit of USD 20.11 million before taxes and special items. Slightly ahead of expectations, says CEO.

DFDS finished the first three months of the year with a deficit before taxes and special items of USD 20.11 million, an improvement over the same period last year, where the carrier suffered a USD 21.39 million deficit, according to the company's interim report. Revenue came to USD 511.97 million, compared to USD 493.63 million in the 1st quarter 2013.
