Rickmers Group losing steam in all three segments

German shipping group Rickmers Group lost revenue as well as profit in the first half of the year across all three segments, container, heavy-lift and asset management of the shipping companies.

Rickmers Group did not have a good first half of the year.

"In the first six months of 2014 consolidated Group revenues amounted to EUR 271.7 million and thus decreased by 5.9 per cent compared to the corresponding period 2013. Although consolidated EBITDA regressed to EUR 101.5 million, the Group’s EBT remained positive with EUR 1.1 million," says the company in the interim report.
