Andreas Nordseth, head of the Danish Maritime Authority, could become the next Secretary General of the IMO, a source tells Reuters.

Lloyd's List opened up for the discussion on Monday about who will succeed current Secretary General Koji Sekimizu as head of the IMO when he resigns at the end of 2015. Denmark, Cyprus, Mexico and Panama are mentioned as candidates.
