PwC: Tonnage tax crucial for offshore carriers

A new analysis by PriceWaterhouseCoopers, PwC, titled "Corporate taxation in the global offshore shipping industry" sheds light on the importance of tonnage tax for the offshore sector.

One of its conclusions is that Singapore ranks high whereas a country like Denmark is ranked far below the country's global competitors in terms of attractive conditions for offshore shipping companies.
