The expansive offshore carrier Topaz Energy and Marine exited 2014 with a net result of USD 52.1 million, a 16.3 percent increase from USD 44.8 million in the previous year.
The consolidated revenue grew as well in 2014, though by more moderate 7.5 percent to USD 404.6 million from USD 376.4 million in 2013, writes the company in the annual report Tuesday. The improved result is primarily due to Topaz receiving seven new vessels in the past year, including a number of modern PSVs (Platform Supply Vessels).
