Carsten Plougmann steps down as CEO of Maersk Supply

Carsten Plougmann Andersen, CEO of Maersk Supply Service for the past ten years, resigns. He will be replaced by Jørn Madsen, who currently serves as COO of Maersk Drilling.

Maersk Supply Service CEO Carsten Plougmann Andersen will resign after 39 years with the Maersk Group, and ten years as head of the offshore carrier.

He will be replaced by Jørn Madsen, current COO of Maersk Drilling, says the carrier in statement Tuesday.
