Improved chemical tanker benefited Stolt-Nielsen in 2Q

The second quarter of the year provided another boost for Stolt-Nielsen Limited. Especially the group's chemical carrier Stolt Tankers is contributing, but the current market conditions will not last, warns CEO Niels G. Stolt-Nielsen.

Stolt-Nielsen Limited boosted the result in the second quarter to USD 42.5 million from USD 38.7 million in the first quarter of the year, according to the interim report released Thursday morning. Revenue increased as well, to USD 500.7 million from USD 487.7 million in the previous quarter.
