The implementation of sulfur requirements on the first of January this year has been expensive for the Swedish carrier group Stena. Even though, the fuel prices on low-sulfur fuel have dropped due to the oil price, the requirements have been costly because of scrubber installations on the group's vessels. And in general, it is expensive when you are forced to be a first mover in environmental issues.
