DFDS resumes operations on the English Channel

France's minister of transport, Alain Vidalies, informs that he has spoken to the parties involved in the conflict. New proposals are said to be on the table.

Danish carrier DFDS resumed ferry operations on the English Channel between Calais and Dover on Tuesday, according to Reuters.

The operations were halted in the weekend following a labor conflict in the port at Calais, in which, among other events, flares were fired upon a DFDS ferry.
