Finnlines delivers best Q2 in 10 years

RoRo carrier Finnlines lost revenue on its activities in the Baltic Sea, but the company has still achieved improved earnings.

The largest RoRo carrier in the Baltic - Finnlines - achieved its best second quarter in 10 years with a result of EUR 15.8 million and a profit in the first half of the year of EUR 16.4 million, the company writes in the recently published interim report.

Revenue declined by 6.7 percent, which the Grimaldi-controlled carrier mainly attributes to economic fluctuations, the upgrading of vessels and the adjustment of the fleet.
