Viking Supply Ships: Two years of tough offshore industry

Viking Supply Ships expects that the offshore market will generally remain challenged in both 2016 and 2016. Especially the PSV segment is under pressure.

Viking Supply Ships, which now also includes Transatlantic AB, achieved a net profit in the second quarter 2015 of USD 5.7 million, compared to a profit in the same period last year of USD 4.6 million, according to the carrier's financial statement.

However, the half-year result dropped to USD 1.45 million from USD 2.4 million in the first half of 2014.
