
Carrier DFDS will next year have to shut down its service on the route between Dieppe in France and Newhaven in the UK, as the route's public owner, SMPAT, has announced that it will not tender route operation in 2016.
This means that DFDS will shut down its service on the route by the end of 2015. The service provides an annual revenue of around USD 45 million, informs DFDS in a corporate statement.
