Media: DFDS finally takes charge of long-awaited ferries

Following a severely protracted process and protests from seafarers, DFDS has now finally taken over the two ferries from carrier MyFerryLink on the English Channel.

On Tuesday, DFDS finally took charge of the two former MyFerryLink ferries Rodin and Berlioz, reports net media 4-traders.

The deal to acquire the ferries was signed back in early June, but the actual handing over of the ferries developed into a protracted process due to strikes by French seafarers protesting the sale of the French ferries to Danish DFDS.
