EU shuts down millions dollar funding for one type of scrubber

There is no more EU money available for those who want to invest in open loop scrubbers for their ships. Environmental considerations and fewer funds are the basis for eliminating the support for this scrubber type.

"Open loop scrubbers are not eligible." This is the plain statement on page 40 in an appendix to the EU support program CEF, Connecting Europe Facility.
