
Starting on April 4th of this year, the Maersk Group will implement improved maternity benefits for employees throughout all of the group's global operations.
The decision is announced after research conducted by the accountant company, KPMG, has shown that maternity benefits have a significant correlation to the retention of female employees, Maersk writes in a press release Thursday.
