Maersk downgrades 2016 forecast significantly

The Maersk Group finished 2015 with an underlying profit of USD 3.1 billion, well below 2014. The group expects a significantly reduced result for 2016.

After a 2015 underlying profit of USD 3.1 billion in 2015, which Maersk Group CEO Nils Smedegaard Andersen describes as satisfactory, the conglomerate lowers its guidance for 2016 significantly.

This is evident from the group's annual report 2015, published Wednesday and available here.
