Havila Shipping's rescue efforts collapsed

Norwegian supply carrier Havila Shipping has been unable to secure the support needed from creditors to rescue the carrier. The company will cease to pay interests and loan installments, according to a statement on Tuesday.

A master agreement, entered into by Havila Shipping and creditors, was subject to a series of conditions that were to be met by February 15th as the latest. This has not happened, informs the carrier in a statement to the Oslo Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
