European shipowners lash out at EU scrapping rules

The European Community Shipowners' Associations (ECSA) criticizes the EU for hampering progress in Alang. The criticism comes after ECSA has visited various yards in India. The working and environmental conditions have improved significantly, says ECSA Chairman Niels Smedegaard.
