Maersk Supply recruits new COO from sister company

Maersk Supply Service has recruited its new Chief Operating Officer from Maersk Drilling. The new COO comes with 25 years of experience from the oil and gas industry.

Claus Bachmann (photo) will replace Claus Tafteberg Sørensen as the new Chief Operating Officer at Maersk Supply Service from September, the company announces.

Bachmann arrives from the position as Asset Manager at the sister company Maersk Drilling, where he began his career as a trainee back in 1991. Jørn Madsen, CEO of Maersk Supply Service, has the following comments about the coming COO:
