Maersk will be split into Transport and Energy

Søren Skou has presented his restructuring work. Maersk will be split into two business units: Transport and Energy. APM Terminals CEO Kim Fejfer and Jakob Thomasen of Maersk Oil will both step down.

Maersk will consist of two business units going forward: Transport and Energy

This is now clear from the presentation of the new Maersk which Group CEO Søren Skou presented on Thursday. It was also announced that APM Terminals CEO Kim Fejfer will step down, and that the current CEO of Maersk Tankers will take over the reins at APM Terminals.
