Eimskip kicks off acquisition wave with Dutch reefer company

Iceland's Eimskip acquires logistics company Extraco in Rotterdam in the first part of many acquisitions which Eimskip plans to carry out in the coming months.

Icelandic Eimskip, which has its operational headquarters in Rotterdam, has purchased Dutch logistics company Extraco Internationale Expedite, which primarily services importers of refrigerated and frozen goods in the Netherlands, informs Eimskip in a corporate statement.

Extraco's 19 employees and the majority of the company's management will remain and maintain an owner's share of 10 percent.
