The global sulfur cap will come into force in 2020, and this was one of the main issues addressed by Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) CEO CK Yoo in a speech Wednesday at TMP Asia.

As ShippingWatch has reported in recent weeks, several major carriers – most notably Maersk – eye major problems related to using scrubbers as a way to comply with the sulfur directive.
