DFDS acquires Dutch logistics firm and expands European activities

DFDS buys Dutch logistics firm Huisman Group, which focuses on time-critical cargo between the UK/Ireland and continental Europe. The purchase does not impact expectations for the full year.

Ferry operator DFDS has acquired Dutch logistics company Huisman Group, a provider of part-load transport and contract logistics, DFDS informs in a stock exchange notice on Monday.

Huisman Group's focus is time-critical cargo between the UK/Ireland and continental Europe. DFDS does not disclose the buying price, but the operator informs that the Dutch company has an annual revenue of about EUR 23 million.
