DSV combines two divisions – several employees lose their jobs

DSV merges its communications and marketing units as part of the integration of Panalpina. This has resulted in redundancies in Switzerland and Denmark.

Logistics major DSV combines its communications and marketing departments, and this move means that several employees are made redundant.

The merger of the departments is part of the process to integrate Panalpina as well as a general change in structure at DSV, the company's Executive VP of Investor Relations Flemming Ole Nielsen tells ShippingWatch.

3i buys AMP out of Esvagt

Private equity firm 3i, which owns half of carrier Esvagt, has agreed with the company's second owner, AMP Capital, to take over all of Esvagt for GBP 268 million, making 3i the sole owner. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
