Ceva Logistics brings in former head of ocean freight at Panalpina

Peder Winther, former head of ocean freight at Panalpina, is set to head the European business of competitor Ceva Logistics. The Dane lost his job at Panalpina following the takeover by DSV last year.

Peder Winther, who left Panalpina shortly after DSV acquired the Swiss company, has landed a new managing position in logistics.

Starting Aug 1, the Dane will become new head of Ceva Logistics in Europe, the company confirms to ShippingWatch.

3i buys AMP out of Esvagt

Private equity firm 3i, which owns half of carrier Esvagt, has agreed with the company's second owner, AMP Capital, to take over all of Esvagt for GBP 268 million, making 3i the sole owner. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
