Former Maersk exec to grow Toll Group in Asia

Australian logistics group Toll has put growth in Asia on top of its agenda for the coming years, with the task handed to a former Maersk Asia CEO. The company was recently targeted as a potential acquisition, but the managing director denies that Toll is for sale.

Australian logistics group Toll bets on massive growth in Asia in the coming years.

Its Japanese owner, Japan Post, has appointed the task of achieving this goal to Danish national Thomas Knudsen, who previously served as CEO of Maersk and Damco in Asia.
