DSV expects more big clashes when the time comes for new acquisitions

Once the fog of the coronavirus crisis lifts and DSV's appetite for acquisitions returns, there will likely be major clashes in store, reminiscent of those that went down in connection with the Panalpina acquisition, says CEO Jens Bjørn Andersen. He also reveals what DSV looks for in acquisition targets.

Transport major DSV Panalpina is mentally preparing itself for a deja-vu once it becomes time to pursue another acquisition.

When the company closed its acquisition of Panalpina last year, it was the culmination of a protracted battle with reluctant major shareholder, which ultimately ended up caving to the pressure.
