Scan Global is in talks with two acquisition targets

Logistics company Scan Global Logistics has secured the exclusive right to negotiate with two acquisition candidates. The pandemic, however, lurks in the background, causing things to take a little longer than normal, CEO tells ShippingWatch.

Scan Global Logistics could soon present one or more new acquisitions.

In an interview with ShippingWatch, Allan Melgaard, chief executive of the Danish logistics company, says that Scan Global Logistics is currently negotiating to buy two companies.

3i buys AMP out of Esvagt

Private equity firm 3i, which owns half of carrier Esvagt, has agreed with the company's second owner, AMP Capital, to take over all of Esvagt for GBP 268 million, making 3i the sole owner. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
