A storm of phone calls and e-mails has swept over DSV Panalpina, whose customers are eager to know where their goods and containers are and when these are expected to arrive.

The Suez incident involving the container vessel Ever Given, which blocked one of the most important arterial passages for global sea transport of containers for a week, has had repercussions for the global supply chains.
