Sea freight soars at Kuehne+Nagel

Swiss logistics major Kuehne+Nagel skyrockets in the first half of the year on the back of a red-hot container market. CEO Detlef Trefzger projects continued "uniquely high demand" in the freight market.

Kuehne+Nagel is starting to see the world's transport markets back in action for real following the Covid-19 pandemic, which brought traffic to a halt in 2020.

The Swiss logistics company came out of the first six months with growth across the line, with particular progress made in sea logistics, and CEO Detlef Trefzger sees no signs of the development stopping any time soon.
