Türkiye trying to prolong agreement on Ukraine's grain corridor

The corridor has secured grain exports from Ukrainian ports since Aug. 1. Türkiye is trying to prolong the agreement, which is set to end on Mar. 18, while Russia demands consideration for Russian export.

According to Reuters, Türkiye is trying to get the United Nations-supported agreement pertaining to the country itself, Ukraine and Russia extended beyond its planned Mar. 18 conclusion. The agreement has ensured safe grain exports out of war-torn Ukraine.
