CMA CGM overtakes Maersk with major logistics acquisition

With the purchase of Bolloré Logistics, CMA CGM could soon outgrow Maersk within logistics. The Danish rival is unlikely to react, though, say analysts.

French shipping group CMA CGM could surpass Maersk and other rivals in the logistics area with a new acquisition, which the family owned company deems its biggest transaction since being founded in 1978.
