Media: China lifts tax on export of low-sulfur fuel oil

According to Reuters, China has removed a special tax on ship fuel with low sulfur content. This is, for now, done to ensure the supply of low-sulfur fuel oil to Chinese ports.

China has reportedly decided to remove the tax on its export of low-sulfur ship fuel.

This means that Chinese refineries will, going forward, not have to pay a special tax on their bunker production.
