The European Community Shipowners' Associations (ECSA) is looking for a new Secretary General, as Martin Dorsman quits abruptly after four years. Two acting Secretary Generals have been appointed. Updated.

Secretary General Martin Dorsman, a strong lobbyist for European shipowners, abruptly leaves his position at ECSA, informs President of ECSA Claes Berglund in a brief announcement.

Martin Dorsman has "decided to seek other work challenges."

3i buys AMP out of Esvagt

Private equity firm 3i, which owns half of carrier Esvagt, has agreed with the company's second owner, AMP Capital, to take over all of Esvagt for GBP 268 million, making 3i the sole owner. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.
