ECSA appoints new president

European shipping association ECSA has selected its chairmanship, which will take over after Swedish Claes Berglund and be in office for the upcoming two years.

The European Community Shipowners' Association, ECSA, has named its new president and vice-president for the next two years.

According to an ECSA announcement, Cypriot Philippos Philis is new president, replacing Swedish Claes Berglund, who has been in charge since Jan. 2020.
