Iran seizes two Greek oil tankers

Iranian naval forces Friday seized two Greek tankers in the Persian Gulf as retaliation for Greece detaining a tanker carrying Iranian oil and a Russian crew in the Mediterranean Sea, reports Reuters.

According to the Greek foreign affairs ministry, an Iranian naval helicopter landed on Greek vessel Delta Poseidon while it was in international waters off the coast of Iran, and took its crew, including two Greek civilians, as hostages.
