Joe Biden would like to "pop" container carriers

Thursday last week, US President Joe Biden criticized container carriers’ high rates, and Friday, he repeated his criticism, this time using stronger language. The president feels about carriers as when you want to ”pop” someone.

US President Joe Biden is far from fond of the high freight rates that have increased prices for US retail chains, exporters and, ultimately, consumers. That he has made perfectly clear.

As late as Thursday last week, he was very direct in his criticism of the container carriers, which, according to the president, demand ”outrageous” freight rates at the cost of US importers and exporters.
