Maersk Tankers venture to save fuel on Navigare ships

Four Navigare-owned vessels are to reduce fuel consumption via support from a energy-saving solution supplied by Njord, which, among others, is operated by Maersk Tankers.

Investment firm Navigare Capital Partners has signed a deal with technology venture Njord on fuel saving aboard four of the company’s vessels – a large oil tanker and three container ships.

The aim is to save fuel and reduce the ships’ carbon emissions with 6-14% annually, states Maersk Tankers in a press release.
