Maersk close to settlement in Hope Hicks harassment case: "We believe it took place"

Søren Skou, CEO of Maersk, confirms ongoing settlement negotiations in harassment case concerning Hope Hicks and another woman who claim to have been subjected to sexual offenses aboard a Maersk vessel. Maersk has been sued in the US. A settlement ”is relatively close,” says Skou.

Maersk is working on closing a much-reported case about sexual harassment in the US against two women aboard a Maersk ship through a legal settlement.

Maersk settles in sexual harassment case between captain and cook

U.S. Marine Management Inc., a subsidiary to Maersk Line Limited, closes legal matter regarding a sexual harassment aboard ship through an undisclosed settlement. It is the fourth harassment case in Maersk’s US branch.
